What is the treatment for throat cancer?

Surgery

If esophageal cancer is small and has not spread, the doctor may remove the tumor using an endoscope and minimally invasive surgery. In severe cases, it is also possible to remove the upper part of the stomach during surgery. Laparoscopic surgery involves cutting the esophagus where the cancer cells are and connecting the stomach to the throat.
